Our Securoglide Roll-Up garage doors by SWS UK are fully insulated and are sealed to 3 sides providing a comfortable environment for those with a home workshop or just spending time in the garage. They have improved security for peace of mind and all come as standard with electric operation and are fully remote control.
COLOUR
SWS Securoglide is Available in 3 Premium Colours including Golden Oak Textured Woodgrain, Mahogany Textured Woodgrain & Rosewood Textured Woodgrain. In addition all the premium colours are designed to match the latest generation of UPVC wood effect double glazing units. There are 8 standard colours including White, Dark Red, Black, Brown, Beige, Fir Green, Blue & Medium Oak Woodgrain. With this choice there should be a colour to suit your home & surroundings.
insulation
Each curtain is assembled from twin-walled aluminium slats that are insulated with CFC-free foam to reduce heat loss and sound transmission. Glazed vision slats are also available.
SWS SeceuroGlide roller garage doors have been tested by a notified body for windloading performance as per BS EN 12424 / 12444. SWS SeceuroGlide have successfully met the requirements of the standard which are equivalent to storm force conditions. All SeceuroGlide have obtained a minimum of classification 2 which is the equivalent of storm force 10 on the Beaufort Scale (59mph).
electric operation & remote control
All SWS Securoglide Roll-Up Garage Doors come with electric operation and remote control as standard. The reciever is wall mounted with an in-built and automatic courtesy lamp. The door is supplied with 2 transmitters that operate via individual open, stop & close buttons. All SWS Securoglide are powered by SOMFY motors that are backed with a comprehensive 5 year warranty.
security & Safety
The SWS Securoglide has a built in mechanical locking device in the shape of the comb locking mechanism. This ensures the door locks automatically and the curtain is held securely, resisting attempts to lift the door by force. In addition the bottom rail of the door has a pressure sensitive protective device 'Safety Edge' that is fully compliant with BS EN 12453.
